Most targets work on residential out of the box - no per-target tuning needed. If you want a dedicated Setup Recipe page (proxy type, country, session strategy, headers tuned for this exact site), email support@simplynode.io with the target URL and your use case. We add ~5-10 new target pages per month based on customer demand.

How target pages work.

Every popular site has its own anti-bot quirks. Amazon flags datacenter IPs in 5 requests. Instagram requires mobile-IP traffic to behave like real users. Google rotates ranking signals by city. Generic proxy advice doesn't carry you across these differences - you need a setup tuned to the specific target.

That's what target pages do. Each one ships with a Setup Recipe: proxy type, country, city, session mode, ASN pin, rate limit, and retry policy - defaults tuned to that exact site. Plus a working code example, real customer numbers, and the 4 most common pitfalls.

The categories group targets by anti-bot character: Marketplaces and Real estate use residential. Social, Sneakers, and Tickets use mobile. Games mostly residential except hot drop platforms. Apps & tools covers anti-detect browsers and automation tools (AdsPower, Multilogin, Incogniton). The category recommendation pill above each section is the rule of thumb.

Common questions about target setups.

No. Same $/GB rate whether you're hitting Amazon, Instagram, or a static blog. Some competitors charge "premium pool" or "anti-detect" upgrades - we don't. The Setup Recipe per target is free; the bandwidth is what you pay for.

Happens every 1-3 months on the biggest targets. You'll see your success rate dip from 98% to ~92% during the rollout, then recover within 1-3 days as we adjust routing. The Setup Recipe on the target page gets revised in the same window. Customers running affected workflows get an email + Slack notification.

Yes. Email support@simplynode.io with the target domain and a short note on your use case. We prioritize requests by customer demand - most accepted requests ship as a dedicated target page within 2-4 weeks. In the meantime, most targets work fine on residential with default settings.

Each Setup Recipe is benchmarked against the actual target with 10K+ requests across a representative endpoint mix (product pages, search, listings, login flows where applicable). We track success rate, response time, and ban rate - only configurations holding above 95% success make it to the published recipe.

Yes for similar targets - a residential US setup works for Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Target with one credential string. For mixed workloads (residential price monitoring + mobile social), you change parameters per request, not per credential set. One account, one balance, infinite parameter combinations.
